How shooting for a fitness club keeps you fit.

Vita Boutique Fitness has recently opened its new, beautifully refurbished studio at 31 Sloane Square in Chelsea, London, providing its clients with a total fusion workout for a transformative experience.

The Vita project by Flair Studio includes a cafe’ on the ground floor of this beautiful building and six floors of reformer pilates, yoga, and barre studios. The facade opens onto Sloane Square with a three-storey eye-catching portal, featuring an exquisite and unique metal decoration wisely enhanced by Detail Lighting illumination.

We were asked to produce promotional imagery – both still photographs and videos – for Vita Boutique Fitness, Flair Studio, and Detail Lighting… and all in one day!

Knowing how complex it is to work on a tight schedule for different clients – the fitness club, the architect, and the lighting company – we successfully managed the challenging task thanks to meticulous planning.

We allocated time slots for each area on the call sheet, considering the busy hours at the Vita Boutique Fitness cafe’, class bookings, and sunlight, as we had to shoot the facade on Sloane Square at dusk to highlight its features.

We produced stills and videos in various durations, formats, and resolutions, which can be published online for our client’s websites and social media and shown in 4K on screens at the fitness studio.

We created a showreel where we gathered the cafe buzz with the reformer pilates body workout and yoga classes.

The top floor studio is reserved for barre and cardio dance workout classes.

We also enjoyed filming the unique Vita Gong experience, a truly unique meditative experience in the darkness that harnesses the energy and healing power of sound for the body and mind.

At the end of a long day, we were exhausted, working on six studio floors with our heavy equipment and focusing on getting each scene at its best.

However, it has been a worthy effort, also rewarded by the words of our happy client:

Marco and his team have worked on a tight deadline to plan and deliver a photo and video shoot efficiently with quite a complicated brief!
They produced a detailed action plan, keeping everyone informed, shooting interiors and exteriors images over six floors, and capturing our fitness classes and wellness offering on video. I still can’t believe how much the team has achieved in just 8 hours.
We love the photos and videos they have created for us and how they reflect our lifestyle brand. I can’t wait to use them for our new marketing material, and we look forward to working with Marco’s creative agency again.
